《想你的時候》 is an original single by Goose 我鳥 and Marcus Lee. In this new release, the two singer-songwriters document the journey of forgetting a loved one at the end of a relationship. 《想你的時候》 gives listeners a sense of wistfulness, and of yesteryears bittersweet love.

‘It is a very selfish and sticky conflict. You want to be able to forget him/her so that you can move on with life, yet you wish that for the other party, they will somehow remember you and all of the good memories so that you feel validated,’ said Goose 我鳥

The song opens with a dynamic rock guitar instrumental and soothing vocals performed by Goose 我鳥, which is iconic of his song arrangement. As the song progresses, Marcus Lee’s presence glides in seamlessly as he unreservedly unleashes his powerhouse vocals, worthy of Singapore’s Indie Mandopop Prince title.

The song is then brought to a climax with multi-layering vocal harmonies from the two, masterfully mixed by Verta Collective.

Marcus adds, “I’ve always admired and appreciated the work from Goose 我鳥, from their originals to their live performance. Being part of an indie rock band in my youth, collaborating with them was always on my mind and this experience brought me a lot of nostalgia.”
